The excitement for the 2019 Ford Ranger has only increased as we continue to eagerly await its release date. Now, we have some more information to tell you! The vehicle has an impressive max payload of 1,860 pounds. But what else can you see in this midsize pickup truck? Let’s find out!
Standard Engine and Specs
There are a few engine options you can find on the 2019 Ford Ranger. This includes a standard 2.3L EcoBoost® engine, which has 270 horsepower and 310 lb.-ft. of torque to power you through your day. This engine delivers 7,500 pounds of towing when you include the tow package and trailer brake controller. This max towing is more than enough for the many jobs you’d need a midsize pickup truck for, and easily beats out the majority of its competition. This engine also has a 10-speed transmission that you probably won’t be seeing on any other of the class competitors.
